Case Study: 4 YEARS OF AESTHETICS TREATMENT

We get a lot of patients who are concerned about how they'd look long term if they had fillers or injectables and the simple fact is with a good practitioner you should only look better!

This is my own patient who I have been treating over the last 4 years. She's had filler almost everywhere, from her brow bone all the way down to her chin. We have restored volume but I have made sure to maintain her features and above all produce a natural result.

The key to looking natural is making sure we do not over treat areas, especially in maintenance appointments. Filler lasts much longer than initially thought (studies showing residual fillers lasting 10 years+). There are areas of her face I haven't touched for over 3 years as they do not appear to need repeat treatments. Restraint is imperative.

This coupled with regular anti-wrinkle treatments every 3-6 months and excellent skincare has lead to such a refreshed look which even years later does not look puffy or unnatural.

My recommendation for prospective patients is to find an injector for the longterm that understands the ageing process, but who also exercises restraint and is comfortable saying no to you when needs be.

Filler Amount Stressing rejuvenation's need, optimal outcomes require ample volume. Not universally applicable, quantities aren't selected from a catalog. Consultations customise plans, spanning multiple visits for budget-friendliness.

Consultations While consultations are standard, I urge scheduling a separate session. In-depth discussions on concerns and treatment options are crucial. Complex treatments need understanding before proceeding.

Maintenance Future filler needs for this patient are expected to be minimal. Scientific studies have consistently confirmed the longevity of results, making it a highly worthwhile investment in aesthetic enhancement. Typically, a reassessment in 12-18 months will involve a maintenance procedure with significantly lower amounts of filler.

Candidates A suitable candidate, this patient's solid bone structure and mild sagging made her ideal. Restoring the jawline without masculinizing was achievable due to her narrow lower face. Patients with lower face heaviness might lean towards surgical options or energy-based devices before volumization.

My recommendation for prospective patients is to find an injector for the longterm that understands the ageing process, but who also exercises restraint and is comfortable saying no to you when needs be.
