CO2 is one of the most in demand treatments in our clinic, and it’s also one of @dr.jasmin.aesthetics all round favourites for patients of all ages and various skin conditions - it essentially resurfaces the skin, and can be used on stronger setting for scars or deep wrinkles, or a gentler setting for a facial that tightens and brightens the skin by stimulating its healing response

Here’s how we did it…

Subcision with hyperdilute Radiesse and CO2 laser is an advanced combination treatment to improve the appearance of scars, particularly acne scars or deeper, uneven scars.

Subcision: This involves using a tiny needle to break up the thick, tethered scar tissue beneath the skin. Think of scars as having little “anchors” pulling the skin down—subcision releases these, helping the skin look smoother and less indented.

Hyperdilute Radiesse: Radiesse is a collagen-boosting filler that’s diluted to spread more evenly. After subcision, it’s placed in the treated area to plump up the skin and kickstart collagen production. Over time, this helps rebuild the skin’s structure and improve overall texture.

CO2 Laser: This powerful resurfacing laser works on the surface of the skin, targeting any roughness or discoloration left behind.. It encourages new skin to grow, making everything look smoother and more even.

This combination addresses uneven skin texture at every level—breaking up the deeper scar tissue, boosting collagen to rebuild the skin from within, and resurfacing the surface layer for a smoother skin. While there may be some redness and swelling afterward, the results are transformative! 💜

Combination treatments are usually the only way to produce impactful visible results, especially when it comes to scarring, the treatment plan will be highly bespoke dependent on the intensity of the scars, age, colour and other factors.

Microneedling with exosomes is a treatment I’m so excited about, I had to try it myself and I trust Lucy with all my skincare 💜

Microneedling creates tiny, controlled microchannels in the skin, triggering the body’s natural healing response and boosting collagen production. When we pair it with exosomes—tiny, cell-derived messengers packed with growth factors—we supercharge the repair process, enhancing skin quality, hydration, and radiance.

It might look a bit intense but I promise it’s far more comfortable than it seems— I’m happily recording this with no numbing! But our patients will be offered numbing unless for any reason we agree you’d get better results without a numbing barrier which is the case sometimes with rosacea cases!

As for downtime, you can expect some redness for a few hours but most clients find it manageable enough to fit into their week and the level of redness you see in this video reduces significantly overnight 💜
